This is a quasi-experimental research method aimed at developing a time-delay device to protect electrical appliances from power surges due to power outages at an affordable cost. The average temperature for the three treatments across all repetitions was normal, based on the maximum temperature of the magnetic relay, which is 1000 °C. The device was used in electronics classes, where student performance improved based on the results of the pre-test and post-test. The reliability of the test based on the post-test result was 0.75, which is interpreted as good, indicating that the assessment instrument is effective; however, there are likely some areas that could be improved. When testing the hypothesis that there is no significant correlation between the pre-test and post-test at significance levels of 0.01 and 0.05, the researchers could not provide sufficient evidence to support the null hypothesis. It was found that the voltage time-delay device is useful for electronics classes. It is recommended to follow the procedure as outlined in the proposed guide for electronics instruction, which can be used for marketing purposes.
