This book offers versatile, innovative and yet practical suggestions for planning and realizing their mathematics lessons at the primary level - including rich working materials. The theoretical foundations on the principles of contemporary mathematics teaching and on planning and designing lessons in the first part of this volume are given practical application through 20 authentic, carefully selected lesson plans that form the heart of this book. Half of these lesson outlines are drafts for exam teaching samples, while the other half are also particularly well-done outlines. The lesson plans reflect well the current requirements and objectives of teaching mathematics at the primary level.
