The brochure "Teaching in Mixed-Age Classes" specifically demonstrates how mixed-age learning can take place with the "language-strong" students. The resource provides, in addition to tips and foundational information on mixed-age teaching with the "language-strong," the following content: a teaching model that gives the mixed-age learning (AdL) instruction a suitable structure while also allowing for individual development space, the implementation of the model through an example, eight model variations, and an overview of learning opportunities for building competencies in the "language-strong 2–6."

The brochure outlines the eight model variations for teaching with two to three classes each. They relate to the following "language-strong" thematic areas: encountering books and authors, exploring language, places of language, text types, and experiencing language consciously. The models have been developed and tested in practice. They can be adapted to meet specific needs.
