Product details
It was on August 9, 1945, at 11:02 AM, when Nagasaki became an atomic wasteland. Only a few children survived the atomic bombing. Takashi Nagai had these children, who were between four and twelve years old at the time of the disaster, write essays. This publication aims to spread the cries of the affected children and make their voices heard. They only have one message for us: "We want no more war!" Takashi Nagai, who compiled this collection, experienced the atomic bombing at the university hospital in Nagasaki. He was severely injured and later developed leukemia due to the excessive radiation. He died from the effects of this illness in 1951.
