The focus of this work is a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of the monetary policy instruments used in the Democratic Republic of the Congo from 1987 to 2018. The aim of this study was to analyze the impact of these monetary policy instruments on the effectiveness of the country's monetary policy. Our main concern was to determine the effects of the monetary policy instruments employed by the Central Bank of Congo (BCC) on their monetary policy effectiveness during the examined period. To test our hypothesis and achieve our goal, we applied statistical and econometric methods to time series data, including correlation, causality, and VAR modeling.
