Of the four main skills in learning English, writing is often considered the most difficult skill. Writing is one of the productive skills that represents a special form of communication and allows learners to express their feelings, ideas, and acquired knowledge with visual words. Furthermore, the materials used by teachers in the classroom can be complex, as learners are often required to study repetitive topics and familiar types of exercises during most of their writing practice. This means that learners understandably do not have enough space for critical thinking in their individual learning products and lack the inspiration to read books. Additionally, the goal of English instruction is to make learners competent communicators and users of the language. This path of learning and teaching should emphasize the higher values of education, namely compassion, attitude, and kindness, which are inherent in the qualities of the learners.
