After his successful photo book "Uniform Insignia of the Waffen-SS," the author now presents another photo book dedicated to the uniform variants of the Waffen-SS. He traces the development of the uniforms since the founding of the SS-Verfügungstruppe in 1935 and thoroughly explores the numerous variants, ranging from field gray to camouflage clothing, winter clothing, tropical clothing, and special uniforms. This includes not only formal suits for SS leaders but also protective coats for motorcycle riders, clothing for paratroopers, flame-thrower protective suits, and service uniforms for SS helpers. The author has taken the effort to find original photos from the era of the Third Reich for each type of clothing. These photos, along with schematic drawings, illustrate his knowledgeable texts and descriptions. An encyclopedia of all uniform variants of the Waffen-SS that leaves no questions unanswered.
