Environmental awareness is steadily increasing. Consequently, environmental protection is playing an increasingly significant role in both societal and political contexts. In addition to the conception and assessment of environmental technology measures, environmental management and environmentally friendly industrial production are becoming more important. This textbook and exercise book provides a compact, understandable, and practice-oriented overview of environmental protection and environmental technology. It describes the complex interrelationships between the various environmental media: soil, water, and air.
