The directive was published in the EU Official Journal on June 27, 2014, and will replace the old PED 97/23/EC as of July 19, 2016. In this context, manufacturers of pressure equipment must review their CE marking procedures and documentation and adapt them to the new structure of the directive. The guide has been updated based on the new PED.
