In addition to reports and portraits for Quick, Stern, or the legendary youth magazine twen, Ulrich Mack has been intensely exploring the themes of still life and landscapes in color since the 1960s. Divided into four chapters, his formally and aesthetically refined cycle "Silence - Vastness - Distance - Closeness" showcases the grace and elegance of objects in detail as well as in interaction with the surrounding nature.
