Überwachung und Management von Zitruskrebs mittels GPS

The citrus plantations of various tehsils in the Sargodha district, namely Bhalwal, Kot Momin, Sillan Wali, Shahpur, Sahiwal, and Sargodha, were studied to assess the occurrence of citrus canker and citrus leaf miner moths in relation to the prevailing environmental conditions. Data was collected to create an incidence map. The highest incidence of disease was primarily observed in Kot Momin, Chak No. 21 S.B., and Mela. The citrus leaf miner moth showed the highest prevalence in Bhalwal, mainly in Lilyani. With the exception of relative humidity, all environmental conditions at all six locations significantly correlated with disease incidence and the population of citrus leaf miners. For every unit increase in minimum and maximum temperature, the incidence of diseases and the population of citrus leaf miners also increased. Among the chemicals tested, Streptomycin + Copper Oxychloride and Match 50 EC proved to be the most effective in combating citrus canker.
