Überleitungstabellen ICD10/DSM5

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) of the American Psychiatric Association is a globally established classification system for mental disorders. The new edition, DSM-5, published in German in 2014, also provides German-speaking users with deeper insights into a differentiated and procedural diagnosis of mental disorders. However, the use of DSM-5 is complicated for those familiar with ICD-10, as many individual diagnoses do not align with the structure and order of the two classification systems. Additionally, DSM-5 uses diagnosis codes from the American modification ICD-10-CM, which often differs from the ICD-10-GM used in German-speaking countries for diagnosis coding and billing. The tables in this book clarify the new DSM-5 classification.
