Product details
In 1942, the border between the German Reich and Switzerland north of Basel is hermetically sealed. Only a finger-like piece of land jutting almost two kilometers into the Reich remains without a barrier: the Iron Hand. The Heimer family lives in a village not far from this fence. When son Paul is killed at the border, it takes father Heimer a long time to realize that Nazis are responsible for Paul's death. He decides to deal with the murderer in his own way and crosses the border one last time. Many years later, a resident of this village keeps finding discarded children's socks. Unable to explain their origin, he takes it upon himself to get to the bottom of the matter.
