The magical light of Tuscany, the secret of an old villa, and a summer romance to melt away. Noemi loves making delicious chocolates, just as she learned from her recently deceased Italian grandmother Rosa. When she loses her job at a catering company, she decides to follow in Rosa's footsteps and travel to Venice. At the Cioccolateria Simonetti, Noemi discovers that her grandmother was a co-founder of a culinary festival in Tuscany that is set to be revived. Since the elderly Signor Simonetti is too ill to make the trip to San Gimignano, Noemi takes it upon herself to go. Along with online journalist Fabio, who wants to write a major article about the festival, she embarks on an emotional journey into the past. Little does she know what secret awaits her in the old villa, in the shadow of the almond trees.
