In Truboy, Anuschka Roshani embarks on a detective quest. She meets companions and associates of Truman Capote – including the last people who saw the writer alive. Among them are his almost-adoptive daughter, the most famous editor of all time, his lawyer, his confidant, his last interviewer, his friend, and his dance partner at Studio 54.

From them, she learns unheard gossip and a wealth of curiosities, vibrant stories that all testify to a life that seems larger than life. By the end of her journey, even her fervent prayer is answered: Anuschka Roshani discovers a fragment of Capote's lost novel.

Truboy is a road movie for reading, a rediscovery of the world-famous writer, and a delight even for those who have previously known little about Capote.
