This lovingly and creatively designed trumpet school for children fundamentally differs from traditional trumpet schools. It is based on the experiences and thoughts of children and engages their imagination with age-appropriate texts and illustrations, without ever becoming childish. From the very beginning, great emphasis is placed on producing a consciously shaped tone that is easy to produce and on thoroughly developing sound quality in the middle and lower ranges. Children want to do something with their hands, which is why the valves are introduced and used very early in a thoughtful and tested sequence (in Volume 1, chromatically descending from c' to small fis and then in connections to the 2nd overtone up to g'). This leads to chromatic playing from the start and prevents the common anxiety that is often prevalent among brass players.
