Reinaldo Coddou H. was born in 1971 in Santiago de Chile and grew up in Bielefeld, East Westphalia. He studied Photo/Film Design at FH Bielefeld and was one of the two founders of the football magazine 11 Freunde, where he significantly shaped the publication as an image editor and photographer for eight years. Since then, he has published various photo books on football, including Fussballtempel, Kunstschuss, Heimat - BVB 09, zuhause im schönsten Stadion der Welt. Today, he lives and works as a freelance photographer in Berlin.
Jan-Henrik Gruszecki was born in 1984 in Herford and grew up in East Westphalia. He successfully completed his studies in Media Communication/Journalism and History in Bielefeld and Buenos Aires. After his studies, he made a name for himself as an editor of various publications and played a leading role in many film and book projects, including the major photo book Heimat - BVB 09, zuhause im schönsten Stadion der Welt. He currently lives in Dortmund and heads the Strategy & Culture department at Borussia Dortmund.
Marie Enders hails from the Ruhr area, studied architecture at RWTH Aachen, and was a guest at ETH Zurich. Her research interests focus on urban studies, architectural sociology, and building typology in the city. In 2020, she completed her studies with the project Third Place Trinkhalle. This project was funded by LWL and LVR and includes an approved application to include the "Trinkhallen culture in the Ruhr area" in the list of intangible cultural heritage of NRW. Since 2020, Marie Enders has been working as a research associate at the Chair and Institute for Urban Planning and European Urban Studies at RWTH.
