Vogelsang is a small village in Vorpommern on the Haff coast. This book describes Vogelsang and its surroundings 50 years ago and illustrates the changes the place has undergone since the 1970s through numerous photos. The author reflects on his youth and describes daily life in the 1970s and 1980s in the former GDR. He provides a vivid picture of village life at that time and the leisure activities available. In addition to a striking depiction of the beauty of the Haff coast and numerous current excursion tips, the book also includes some historical information about the history of Vogelsang and the family of the Counts of Enckevort, as well as their estate, Vogelsang.
