I once promised to write Dakota history. So far, I haven't found the courage to do so. And it takes courage! Living it all over again won't be easy. Memories are sometimes vicious and can hurt like bad spikes. Wounds are torn open that have not even healed completely. But when should I start? I believe some things never heal properly. And perhaps it is better to let some things rest. But I promised! If I manage to finish this, to write down what happened to Dakota and me, will it be better, or will it be much worse?
