The book "Moderate Traumatic Brain Injury" offers a comprehensive analysis of moderate traumatic brain injury (TBI), a common medical phenomenon with high morbidity rates. While research has traditionally focused on severe head injuries, this work sheds light on the less studied moderate cases. It is based on a retrospective study of 66 adult patients treated at the University Hospital of Getafe between 2005 and 2015. The authors, Guillermo del Piñal and José Manuel Ortega Zufiría, examine epidemiological profiles, diagnostic approaches, and therapeutic measures. Additionally, crucial prognostic factors that influence the course and outcome in patients with moderate TBI are identified. The findings of this study are significant for clinical practice and the improvement of treatment strategies for affected individuals.
