Transzendentale Meditation
German, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Natalie Soondrum, 2024Product details
This book consists of two parts. The first part is a lecture by Maharishi on Transcendental Meditation. The second part contains questions from listeners and Maharishi's answers to lectures from the period of March 1960 to mid-1961, when Maharishi held evening lectures in London. The questions and answers have been organized into categories by topic. Maharishi's message from 1961 has lost none of its relevance: "Currently, chaotic conditions prevail in the world: Daily tensions are increasing among individuals, in society, at the national and international levels. We urgently need something that restores harmony within each individual and gives them peace. Only from inner peace can wisdom and happiness arise. All the knowledge that comes from endlessly accumulating facts can never truly satisfy human needs, because these needs are called happiness, understanding, and wisdom, and they are by no means vain or otherworldly aspirations; rather, they are the birthright of every human being. I came from the Himalayas with a method that elevates the heart and mind of a person to a level where they can recognize and appreciate the qualities of their own higher nature. I call this method Transcendental Meditation, but in reality, it is a technique of self-exploration. It allows a person to dive into the innermost essence of their being, where the essence of life and the source of all wisdom, creativity, peace, and happiness reside. This place is called the Kingdom of Heaven within.".
