The focus of this technical book is on planning transport and storage technology with necessary pre-dimensioning. The topics dealt with in the transport and storage areas are presented according to functional structure, advantages and disadvantages, areas of application and facts of interest for planning. Special consideration is given to flexible means of transport, new storage systems and automation possibilities in order picking technology.
