This issue focuses on the opportunities and challenges of using video vignettes for professional classroom observation (PCO). How can theory-guided, effective learning video vignettes be created? What support do students need when working with vignettes? How can learning environments be designed? Results from the Erasmus project VidNuT, an overview of teaching video vignettes, the effectiveness of eLearning modules with teaching vignettes, embedding options for video vignettes, and the development of functions for working with video vignettes in TeachingOnline. Approaches from a phenomenological or critically constructive perspective in dialogue – "Using Video Vignettes in Higher Education" with Hannes Helmut Nepper, Verena Huber Nievergelt, Anja Lembens, and Lutz Kasper in conversation. Preview of Issue 10 (2024): The next edition will address current developments in sustainable learning as well as practical implementations in movement, nutrition, and health education: What challenges are associated with learning settings across different age groups? What research findings exist from the (higher) education sector regarding the movement, nutrition, and health competencies of students? What tools and resources are available for educators to make sustainability tangible in the classroom? What are the specific contents in initial, further, and continuing education?.
