Carsten Bünger (PhD), born in 1979, is a professor of General Education Science with a focus on Education and Society at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd. His research examines the relationships between the educational and the political, as well as education, democracy, and critique. Kerstin Jergus (PhD), born in 1979, is a professor of General Education Science at the University of Hamburg. Her research and work focus on the theory and history of education in connection with cultural studies in educational research. Madeleine Scherrer (PhD) is a research associate at the Institute for Educational Science (Department of General Education) at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd. Her areas of focus include educational and philosophical questions, as well as gender theory in relation to the Anthropocene, education for sustainable development, decoloniality, spatial theories, Feminist Science, Technology and Society Studies, and diffraction analysis.
