Product details

In this book, psychological and medical psychotherapists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, counselling staff and health coaches learn how they can support their clients in dealing competently with stressful feelings. This ability is of central importance for well-being and mental health. The training of emotional competencies (TEK) is a transdiagnostic oriented intervention programme which can be used whenever deficits in emotional regulation are seen as a cause of reduced well-being or mental disorders. The TEK is primarily designed as group training, but can also be used in individual settings. Fields of application arise (1) in the treatment of mental disorders in psychotherapeutic practices, outpatient clinics and hospitals, (2) in the prevention of mental illness.
