Tracking of Cutaneous Leishmeniasis

The textbook "Tracking of Cutaneous Leishmaniasis" offers a comprehensive investigation of cutaneous leishmaniasis conducted in the Mid-Euphrates provinces of Iraq. The study analyzes the species and strains of the Leishmania parasite isolated from various endemic areas. With a sample of 126 cases that include both female and male patients, the book highlights the demographic characteristics of the disease, including age distribution and geographic spread in urban and rural areas. The results show a high prevalence of multiple lesions and a dominant moist form of the disease. Additionally, the diagnostic methods, including direct smears and culture techniques, are described in detail, contributing to a better understanding of the disease and its distribution.
