Otto Meisner is supposed to find out if Silke Sternheimer is being cheated on by her husband. However, when the husband collapses dead, the former lawyer Meisner finds himself in the middle of a murder case. While Commissioner Rita Schmölz tries to understand what happened, Meisner investigates on his own.
