The Toggenburg Yearbook presents for the first time the fate of Countess Elisabeth von Matsch, the widow of the last Count Friedrich VII of Toggenburg. The series of topics continues with the aftermath of the last major village fire in Switzerland in Toggenburg's Stein and the history of the Toggenburg weapon run. The Toggenburg Museum in Lichtensteig has planned a joint theater production in cooperation with the Chössi Theater to celebrate its 125th anniversary. Many photos illustrate the approximately 130-year history of tourism advertising in Toggenburg, and Heinrich Hanselmann is introduced as a pioneer in special education. There are also some unusual topics: the pioneering work of Flawa AG in Lower Toggenburg in the development of protective masks. A contribution to peatland protection in Toggenburg rounds off the yearbook.
