A Murder in the Linz Chamber Orchestra

What begins as a completely normal visit to the Linz Concert Hall turns into a highly explosive case for Commissioner Robert Worschädl: a musician is found strangled behind the scenes, with a string as the banal murder weapon. He was an unpopular colleague, and the competition within the orchestra is fierce. But is that enough of a motive to silence him and his instrument forever? The main suspect, his greatest rival, claims to know nothing about the murder and believes it to be a treacherous conspiracy.

A counterfeit fifty-euro note ultimately leads Worschädl down a completely different path, one that he finds quite unsettling. It seems that not only the mysterious and beautiful cellist Clara Bianchi is involved in the case, but also a high-ranking Linz politician.
