A mysterious and equally disturbing murder of a 29-year-old woman in Chur shakes not only Graubünden. The victim was arranged on a park bench at the edge of the forest as if she were still alive, with a strange object in her mouth. Giulia de Medici, the experienced chief investigator of the Graubünden cantonal police, takes on the case. By her side, as always, is Nadia Caminada, her best friend and a renowned profiler. Together, they begin the investigation and stumble upon a chilling parallel: In the summer of 1983, during the notorious Emmental Blood Summer, one of the three murdered young women was staged in exactly the same way. Could the same murderer be at work, or are they dealing with a copycat?
