Tod und Leben - Mit Kindern in der Grundschule Hoffnung gestalten

The authors of this volume deal with this difficult topic in detail and sensitively in a total of 5 chapters: Chapter 1 introduces fundamentally to childhood conceptions of death and shows pictures in their significance for the child's world of perception and expression and thus also as essential elements of childhood death constructs. Chapter 2 shows 25 concrete pictures and texts by children of primary school age, who describe their 'works' in detail and give access to their rich world of thoughts on the subject of dying, death and life (after death). Chapter 3 presents an extensive series of lessons on the subject of death and life, which offers even inexperienced teachers extensive, practically tested and detailed material from the parents' evening to the visit to the cemetery. Chapters 4 and 5 conclude with, among other things, extensive information on death from Christian theological sources.
