In his first book, "The Animal Healer," Robert Haas described his personal journey that led him to his calling of helping and healing sick animals. In his new work, he shares the many extraordinary experiences he has had while treating animals. The central insight he gains from his work is summarized in the statement: "Animals and humans are more closely connected than is commonly believed!" This is evident to him in the way that animals clearly take on illnesses from humans or at least reflect them back to their owners. Therefore, if one wants to bring healing to animals, one must also focus on the humans with whom they live. On an inner level, there is evidently a shared "field" that unites animals and humans inseparably. This is a fascinating firsthand account that convincingly illustrates to people that in order to help their animals, they should first turn their gaze inward.
