Tiere im Winter. Grundschule, Sachunterricht, Klasse 3-4

What is actually the difference between hibernation, hibernation stiffness and hibernation? How do squirrels spend the winter and what do wild boar, deer and co. feed on during the cold season? The learning workshop contains stations on nine selected native wild animals such as dormouse, badger, wild boar and deer. For each animal, your students will first receive general information that will give them an understanding of the animal in question. The stations then go into the special characteristics of the animals and their behaviour during the winter months. Your pupils will learn about the raccoon's wintering grounds, find out what the dormouse uses to eat its fat pad and learn the difference between the deer's summer and winter clothing.
