The Christian faith has always found its expression in music and songs. When we sing together, we profess our own faith and learn about the faith of others. Our songbook contains a colourful and unique mixture of Christian musical styles and colours of faith. The spectrum ranges from gospel to worship music, from Taizé to Kirchentag, from rousing children's songs to newly written and newly set chorales, from old chorales to singer-songwriter chansons, from peace songs to songs from the ecumenical movement. Musically, we have favoured songs that are not too dependent on the respective interpreter but are easy to sing and good to accompany. In terms of content, we have taken care to ensure that they are theologically responsible and in the direction of the Gospel. Content and melody complement each other. All the songs have been tried and tested and are suitable for large and small groups. An extensive text section offers 36 devotions on many topics and occasions: Bible words, psalms, prayers and food for thought.
