The Christian faith has always found expression in music and songs. When we sing together, we profess our own faith and learn something about the faith of others. Our songbook contains a colorful and unique mix of Christian musical styles and expressions of faith. The spectrum ranges from gospel to worship music, from Taizé to church festivals, from engaging children's songs to newly reworded and set chorales, from traditional hymns to singer-songwriter ballads, from peace songs to hymns from the ecumenical movement. Musically, we have favored songs that are not overly dependent on the respective performer but are easy to sing and well-suited for accompaniment. Theologically, we have ensured that the songs are responsible and aligned with the message of the Gospel. Content and melody complement each other. All songs are tried and tested and suitable for both large and small groups. A comprehensive text section offers 36 devotions on various themes and occasions: Bible verses, psalms, prayers, and thought-provoking insights.
