The third volume of the series Theory of medical foot treatment describes the basics of podological biomechanics. Possible causes of incorrectly loaded feet and the associated effects are explained. The procedures of biomechanical foot examination are used for this purpose and subsequently solutions to problems are presented. In practice, this knowledge can be used where pain conditions at the foot have to be corrected by podiatrists. In his work, the author underlines the necessity of interdisciplinary cooperation with other professional groups.
