Theodor Mommsens' Römische Geschichte 3A, Kapitel 1-8

I actually intended to transcribe this work just for myself, as I first read Theodor Mommsen at the age of fourteen (after enjoying 'Ben Hur' in the cinema!), and I was so captivated by the author and his timeless work that I continued to use it repeatedly to look up specific topics related to Roman history. However, due to the detail and textual precision of Mommsen's writing, it is often difficult and time-consuming to find certain information again. Therefore, I decided, in my retirement, to transcribe his entire work simply to better remember some things and to highlight important terms in color, making it easier to find the sought-after passages later. Additionally, I have included the relevant maps at the end of each chapter to make Mommsen's magnificent work even more comprehensible for today's readers.
