Finally – the great classic of wine literature is now available in its seventh revised edition. Once again, Jancis Robinson and Hugh Johnson have scrutinized the entire wine world, guiding the reader knowledgeably and entertainingly through all the wine regions of the world to the most significant wines and their producers. The new edition takes into account all the important aspects of the changing wine world, including the impacts of climate change as well as new techniques, trends, and regulations from the past six years. Over 200 maps provide the reader with excellent overviews and details to discover across all five continents. Additionally, new material is included for the cool-climate regions of Australia, while dynamic regions such as Croatia, South Africa's Swartland, and Ningxia in China are introduced for the first time. A more modern layout and current photos enhance the experience.
