The water so cold

A name is not always a prophecy. At least, Marie Glücklich knows this for sure. Recently heartbroken, unemployed, and without a place to stay, she returns to her Swabian hometown. When an old school friend offers her a job, she reluctantly agrees to it: The Institute for Demoscopy in Allensbach is looking for single men and women to participate in a study about the influence of the internet on dating, who will place an ad on an online contact platform. However, when Marie soon starts receiving anonymous calls and the body of a young woman is found near her house by the lakeshore, she is no longer sure if it was the right decision.
