Product details

What is the significance of consumption in the social transition phase between climate change and digitalisation processes? Changing consumption in the sense of sustainable development and actively using digitalisation for a social transformation is closely linked to a changed understanding of consumption as well as to partly new roles of the actors. This volume offers ways in which sustainability-oriented research and education can make these new roles and the associated transformative potential of consumption visible and usable. This objective is linked to the concern to support consumers, to practise forms of consumption in the sense of a circular economy and to take greater account of consumption actions beyond market-mediated solutions.
