17-year-old Jonas lives with his older brother Alexander and his girlfriend Lisa in the poor quarter of a big city. Their biggest dream is to leave their miserable lives behind and make a new start in a better place. Besides their alcoholic mother, they suffer most from the petty criminal Mike, who is known as a homophobe and leader of a youth gang.
