The philosophical affiliations of Mikhail Bakhtin and Jacques Derrida

The book "The Philosophical Affiliations of Mikhail Bakhtin and Jacques Derrida" explores the shared intellectual sources of Bakhtin and Derrida, as well as their differing responses to a variety of philosophers. While earlier comparisons often highlighted the potential contributions of these thinkers to literary theory, this work argues that they should be better understood as philosophers working within different philosophical traditions and based on a range of common intellectual roots.
