Britten, UweUwe Britten, born in 1961 in Werl (Westphalia), graduated from secondary school in 1983, studied German and philosophy, author of several novels for young people and social studies, intensively occupied with the life and work of Honoré de Balzac. Fischer, AngelikaAngelika Fischer, born in Berlin in 1947, completed an apprenticeship as a photographer at the traditional Atelier E. Bieber in Berlin-Steglitz. She then worked as an industrial and press photographer. She has worked as a freelance photographer since 1983. Her pictures have appeared in various publications in Germany and abroad, and at the same time she has created free artistic series in black and white on various topics.Angelika Fischer is the author of numerous book publications of her own, including "Bastions of Light" - honoured by the Stiftung Buchkunst in 1997 - as well as the cultural history series "Spurensuche" and "Zwischen den Zeiten", and since 2002 she has been a picture author and co-publisher in Edition A-B-Fischer. Her pictures determine the aesthetic image of the publication series "People and Places" and "wegmarken" as well as the volumes of "Literary Time Travel" about Venice, Zurich and St Petersburg. Her book "Coco de Mer" was published in German and English in 2008 and in French in 2010, and she has also had numerous solo exhibitions and, since 2009, the travelling exhibition "Menschen und Orte", which has been shown in museums throughout Germany, as well as taking part in group exhibitions.
