Product details
Klaus Blaser grew up in the Netherlands as a Swiss expatriate. There, he made his first literary attempts and published several novellas and short stories. Klaus Blaser has been living in Basel for almost 30 years, during which time he has produced various non-fiction books. His love for fiction has remained and is now expressed in the cat and sky story in a new guise. The tailored fabric has become a richly illustrated and touching treasure.
Rudolf Blaser, born in 1924 in Herisau, evolved during the two decades he spent in the Netherlands from a talented student of the renowned Dutch painter Rinus van der Neut into an independent artist. The majority of his artistic output consists of his imaginative oil paintings, painted with musical virtuosity and sensitivity, numbering over 500. In this book, we are allowed to get to know some of his subtle drawings. With the specially created illustrations, Rudolf Blaser is not venturing into new territory, as the flying, the ascending, and the heavenly are recurring themes in his paintings.
