New Consulting Worlds, the third volume of the Handbook of Consulting, complements Disciplines and Approaches (Volume 1) as well as Approaches, Methods, and Fields (Volume 2) with contributions on current contexts in which consulting must prove itself, and new perspectives on consulting knowledge and consulting practice. This volume illustrates how consulting is conceptually evolving, where new tasks, new functional relationships, and new conditions of a diversified professional practice are emerging that challenge consulting in its traditional concepts, settings, and working forms. Paradoxes and ambiguities in the development of consulting are highlighted.
