The little yogi

Christine Rank created a standard work 25 years ago with the book "The Little Yogi - Easy Yoga for Kids," triggering a true boom in children's yoga. Today, children's yoga is incredibly popular, and for good reason, as it allows children to continually rediscover themselves and grow. The varied and engaging exercises in the book are suitable for all children aged 3 and up. The exercises have a harmonizing effect, promote self-confidence, and enhance concentration. Children become increasingly familiar with their own bodies and ultimately learn to take more responsibility for themselves. Many of the yoga poses in this book are inspired by nature and are named after plants and animals. Playfully and with joy, children can rediscover themselves as lions, butterflies, flowers, cats, or trees. All yoga poses are described in a child-friendly manner and illustrated for easy implementation. A unique feature is the yoga stories that creatively incorporate all the exercises in this book. New additions include relaxation and yoga songs by Detlev Jöcker, which can be used with many of the exercises.
