The Invasive Potamogeton species in Tigris River Below Mosul Dam

The book "The Invasive Potamogeton Species in Tigris River Below Mosul Dam" offers a comprehensive examination of the ecological and taxonomical aspects of the invasive genus Potamogeton in the Tigris River below the Mosul Dam. It highlights the impacts of dam construction on the river's flora and analyzes a section of approximately 50 km between the villages of Wana and Yarimja in Nineveh Province. The content is divided into two main parts: the first part addresses the physical and chemical properties of the water in which the aquatic plants thrive, while the second part focuses on the taxonomical, ecological, and phytochemical aspects of the exotic Potamogeton genus. This work is based on a dissertation submitted in 2009 at the University of Mosul.
