How we dissolve and why we need to reinvent ourselves. Digitalization fundamentally changes us and our world: The difference revolution radically isolates people and increases inequality. The intelligence revolution, with the widespread proliferation of intelligent machines, leads to a redistribution of knowledge and opportunities - and also to greater inequality. Must we redefine ourselves as unpredictable, playful, and - in a positive sense - disruptive beings? Through the control revolution, we are no longer exploited but interpreted, jeopardizing our ideals such as justice and democracy. In the granular society, our institutions fail and our self-image wavers. We will need to reinvent ourselves and our world.
