The good cop

Isaac Sidel rises higher in the ranks: As the most well-known police chief in the country, he is sent on a promotional tour across the nation by the Justice Department. Tired of political self-promotion, he abruptly ends the tour and returns to New York. However, his solo actions threaten to become his downfall: a dangerous web closes in around him, involving rival mafia families and the FBI, as well as Isaac's own intelligence agency, the Irish stalwart Cardinal Jim, Mayor Becky Karp, and an elite club with a penchant for baseball history and crime.
