The gold dealer

Germany in the year 1485. For the young Jewish woman Lea, a year of disasters comes to an end, as her father and younger brother Samuel lost their lives in a pogrom. To secure her father's inheritance and thus her survival and that of her siblings, Lea must now pass herself off as Samuel. In her double role, she faces many dangers, not only from Christians but also from her fellow believers, who are determined to marry off "Samuel." And then she unexpectedly falls in love with the mysterious Roland, who leads her into a more than adventurous mission.
